APPLE BARS

1 C Margerine
1 C Light Brown Sugar
1 t Vanilla
1/4 t Salt
1 egg
2 C flour
4 C Sliced apples
1/4 C Sugar
1/2 t Cinnamon
2 T Cornstarch

Melt the margerine and add the sugar, then beat in vanailla and eggs

Sift flour and salt into the mixture, beat with an electric mixer

Press the dough into a 9x13 pan

Combine the apples, sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon. Spread evenly over the dough

Bake at at 350° for 45 minutes until until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean


APPLE BLUEBERRY BARS
1 C Margerine
1 C Dark Brown Sugar
1 t Vanilla
1/4 t Salt
1 egg
2 C flour
2 1/2 C Sliced apples
1 1/2 C Blurberries (frozen is OK)
6 T C Sugar
1/2 t Cinnamon
2 T Cornstarch

Melt the margerine and add the sugar, then beat in vanailla and eggs

Sift flour and salt into the mixture, beat with an electric mixer

Pour the dough into a 9x13 pan

Combine the apples, blueberries, sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon. Spread evenly over the dough

Bake at at 350° for 45 minutes until until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
